Parents/Guardians will do an active screening of COVID symptoms with their children before bringing them to school. For the health and safety of the St. Martin Academy community it is imperative that families keep their child(ren) home from school when they present any COVID-19 like symptoms such as the following: fever of 100F or more; chills; new cough, nasal congestion, or runny nose; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; new muscle or body aches or fatigue; headache (if abnormal); new loss of taste or smell; sore throat; nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain; diarrhea; new rash. Students will have their temperature checked and answer symptom screening questions in the school drop-off line before exiting the car, and will be asked to leave with a temperature reading above 100F degrees. Students will be dropped off and picked up from school via vehicles only – no waiting or congregating outside school grounds or walking students in and out.
School start and end times will be staggered so as to maintain safe distancing.
We ask all drivers with children in Grades K-6 to enter and exit the school parking lot using the west driveway.
Grades 7 & 8 drop-off is at the north end of Parish Hall. Review traffic procedures below.
Campus Access – There will be minimal access to campus by visitors and volunteers at this time. Family members will be directed to tables outside the school gates and/or school office for dropping off/picking up items.
