St. Martin Academy and the Workshop Way program really left a lasting impression on my life. My parents decided to switch where I was going to school and send me to SMA when I was in 4th grade and what a difference it made. I’ll never forget my first day and the warm welcome I received from the teacher and all the kids. Most of these kids I’m still in contact with and my children are now friends with their children. I graduated in 1998 and continued on to Our Lady of Peace and was fortunate to be able to jump into my career right away as an Escrow Officer. I worked in escrow for 8 years as a team with my mom before leaving and working with my husband in real estate.

We currently own Phillipson Real Estate Services and have just received the award for East County’s #1 agent for 2017 with the most transactions closed! Attending SMA gave me the foundation to be who I am today. The Workshop  Way program allows you to grow and work at your pace which I really enjoyed! It gave me the skills to work well with others and be confident in what I do.

One of my fondest memories was the sports program at SMA – being able to play soccer, basketball and volleyball all with my close friends was so much fun! I’ve been married 7 years and have 2 daughters of my own. One who attends SMA Preschool now and the other will start in the fall. The school is just as wonderful as it was when I attended and I look forward to watching my girls love it just as much as I did!
